While we do provide a variety of vertically integrated pet services, our specialization is our one-of-a-kind outdoor daycare experience. We are a licensed and fully insured practice, and all our staff are Fear Free Professionals with credentials from Bravo Dog, Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundations, Walk ‘N’ Wags, DogSafe, and more.

No matter the breed or size, every dog loves their outdoor time. Our outdoor daycare experience explores all the parks, beaches, and hiking trails Vancouver has to offer, rain, snow, or shine. Positive training sessions and transportation are included.
Some dogs may prefer taking their walks in peace, and some may simply be more suited in a private setting outside of a playgroup to ensure a Fear Free experience. We got their backs too. Our private walks can be at a neighborhood park or at a destination hiking trail.
Just got a puppy and struggling with shaping their behaviours? Our certified positive reinforcement marker trainers can offer you the help you need, whether it be 1-on-1 for personalized training or in a group setting. Consultation and training activities are provided.

They provided both a virtual and in-person meet and greet in order to get to know our pup. They have made accommodations for pick up in order to suit our needs. They are also willing to work on specific training needs, such as loose leash walking. They take amazing videos and photos of our pup’s adventures. Our outdoor daycare experience is all about exploring nature and going on hiking adventures. We pride ourselves on this new approach to daycare centred around creating an unforgettable and Fear Free experience for all our pups while they explore the outside world. For all our services, we offer early pick-ups and late drop-offs at an additional fee. Alternatively, if access is provided, we can pick-up and drop-off the dogs at a designated location for the sole purpose of carrying out our services.

The recommended amount of exercise varies depending on your dogs’ age, breed, and health conditions. You may want to check with your vet to be sure. For our Full Day Outdoor Daycare experience, we go the extra mile to ensure that the dogs get lots of rest in between the two destinations. The break time is 3-hours, during which they can nap, or engage in some enrichment exercises with interactive toys. In total, NOT consecutively, the full-day outdoor pack will spend around 2 hours hiking or exploring parks/beaches, and 1 hour on walks.
If you want your dogs to have some extra rest time, please let us know ahead of time, and we can ensure that your dogs get some additional down time in the PUPBUS with a staff member, resting on a comfy bed, with lots of water, treats, and toys, to limit their outdoor exercising time if needed.

Seasonal camping trips are only available from June to September on selective weekends. We have previously organized camping trips to Port Renfrew, and will have more exciting camping trip and day trip options for the upcoming summer!

ABSOLUTELY! We offer Private Walk at Your Comfort, which is a walk around your neighbourhood or a neighbourhood park. But we have added a new service: Private Walk Explore Mode.
With the Explore Mode option, we will take your dog to hiking trails and destinations we frequent, and it can be different parks, beaches, and trails each time. Rest assured, the walk time does not include the transportation time.

Depending on your dogs’ breed, age, and underlying health conditions, physical exercise need and the level of care required differ.
Our regular boarding is an affordable option for pups that have lower physical exercise needs and can be left alone. This option still includes walks at neighbourhood parks and training.
Our premium boarding includes a Half-Day Outdoor Daycare experience, where the dogs get 90 minutes of outdoor time at an off-leash park, beach, and/or hiking trail, with more dedicated training sessions. This may be a great option for dogs that need lots of exercise, enrichment, and training.
Our ultimate boarding experience includes a Full-Day Outdoor Daycare experience on top of the Boarding service, and the dog will not be left at the boarding location alone with this option. This may be the right option for dogs that are adventurous, loves the outdoors, and enjoys spending lots of time with other dogs.

Training is included for all our Outdoor Daycare experiences, all Private Walk options, and all our Boarding services. We also offer training services (1-on-1 personalized training sessions and group training sessions).

Our trainers are certified R+ (positive reinforcement) clicker/marker trainers. Under no circumstance do we condone any use of aversive tools such as shock/prong collars, and we do not condone positive punishment, negative reinforcement, or negative punishment training methods.
For our Outdoor Daycare, since it is in a group setting, our trainers will use a verbal marker instead of clickers. We mainly focus on practicing recall, check-ins, drop/trade, focus-training, and being redirected on walks for this service.
For Private Walks and Boarding Services, our trainers will work with you on clicker training. In addition to the Outdoor Daycare focus, we are able to tailor training to suit your specific needs, such as leash skills, leash reactivity, greeting other dogs/persons, and more.

There are MANY benefits when it comes to training. Our goal is to help your dog build confidence, promote long-term behaviour retention, and provide mental stimulation, all of which will set them up for a life-time of success.

If you are a new client, we require a Free Zoom Consultation and Meet and Greet before you are able to book our services. This is to ensure the health and safety of your pup(s) and our pack.
If we are a good fit, we will provide you your log-in information once we receive a signed Service Agreement. You can then book any service if there is availability. Please be mindful of our cancellation policy when you book.

For Outdoor Daycare, cancellations made 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up time is eligible for a free reschedule. Cancellations notified with at least 24 hours notice will receive a 50% credit.
For Private Walks, Training, Home-Services, and Boarding, cancellations made 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up or appointment time is eligible for a free reschedule. No partial refund or credit will be available if notice is given outside this window.
Missed appointment for any service will not be eligible for a free reschedule, refund, or partial credit. The above does not apply to specified emergency situations outlined in the Service Agreement.
A full refund is available when we cancel our services for more than one Service Week due to unforeseen circumstances. Specified emergency situations outlined in the Service Agreement may also be eligible for a full refund.
Please note that packaged deals and special offerings are NOT eligible for refunds. For emergency situations that persist for longer than 2 Service Weeks, we will extend the time for which the purchased package can be used.

With recurring attendance, we will have the same pack each day of the week. This is strongly encouraged to ensure compatibility within our packs.
Dogs are just like us humans, even if they are a social butterfly, they don’t get along with every dog. We want to ensure that your dog is comfortable and having fun, and that’s why it’s important for us to establish recurring attendance so we can easily group the packs by size and play style! This is also so that if your dog doesn’t get along with a certain dog on one of the days, they can switch to another day where they may find playmates that are more compatible.
Another reason? CONSISTENCY IS EVERYTHING. While some dogs may be perfectly fine making new friends every day or every week, it may be overstimulating and stressful for many dogs. We want to minimize this as much as we can, while offering flexibility and accommodation where we can.
It is much easier for us to accept drop-ins, but we want to ensure your dogs’ health and safety first and foremost.
Existing clients are more than welcome to schedule drop-ins. We offer discounted pricing for recurring bookings, and we strongly recommend considering it to help us cultivate a comfortable and unforgettable experience for your dogs!
